Well, I had to wait a few days before I posted my review. I've gathered my composure and am ready to do so now.I went to Grace Park Animal hospital because they were near and the reviews were pretty consistent. It was an emergency and they got us in immediately. My 13 year old Boxer was struggling and was obviously in pain. It wasn't a gradual issue. It was immediate and unexpected. The front staff were all exceedingly friendly and very efficient. They had everything ready for us upon our arrival. The doctor, Dr. Sumakeris, and her assistant were awesome. They both were friendly, exuded empathy towards us and treated my dog like they were concerned parents. They talked and walked us through everything that was going on with Sam.I didn't walk into the facility thinking nor believing my puppy son was as sick as he was, although deep down I felt that he was pretty sick. The thing that got me was that he was rarely sick and up until that day, was always the same.He was found to have a malignant inoperable tumor on his bladder. His pain seemed to have increased 10 fold during the morning before we arrived at the animal hospital. It was recommended by the doctor that he be put down because he could not be helped. There was no surgical procedure or medication that could help him. Based on what I was seeing with my pooch, we all agreed that it had to happen. Trying to hold on to him would've been selfish. The doctor and assistant allowed us as much time as we needed but checked on us to make sure we were ok during this trying time. For me, the thought was unfathomable. I'm still in disbelief. Sam was euthanized peacefully that day. My heartfelt thanks to GPAH for taking care of me, my family and most importantly, my Sam. We appreciate everything that you did for us and it will never be forgotten. I wish that I could give more than five stars. I definitely would. Doctor, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You and your staff rock in my book. Continued success to you all.
I have been taking my pets here for the last two years. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. They are all courteous and helpful. I have delt mostly with Dr Strunk and Dr Traficanti, but have not had any issues with any staff. I exclusively board my pets here when needed and the daycare is exceptional.
Great Hospital. This hospital took over when another emergency hospital mis diagnosed my dog. They were immediately ready to help and make sure Bauer was taken care of. The were courteous and prompt. They stood by their word which was greatly appreciated. Dr Eric Strunck was awesome. Bauer has been healing wonderful. They even called to check on him and answered questions for us after surgery anytime we called. We will be using them for the future just hopefully not for any more emergencies!
We have been taking our dacshunds here since we moved to the area six years ago. The vets here have been terrific. We have had issues with two of our dogs, one with a rare immune disorder and the other severe anxiety. They helped us with both even fielding two to three calls a day when we were experiencing major issues with one. The support staff is also terrific. It does not matter how long it has been since we brought in our trio, the staff here remember our dogs and identify them without assistance. I cannot say enough about the team here. Despite moving 25 minutes away, we still go here and would not dream of going elsewhere.
The best animal hospital that I have ever taken my 4 year old dog to. The staff is extremely friendly and always willing to help. They take such great care of my boy even when he is being stubborn. They never get frustrated with him! The office is very, very clean. They are so understanding to your finances and print out an estimate of every suggested treatment option for your pet and allow to choose what you believe is best. They don't push you to make choices that you don't feel comfortable with like BANFIELD does. It isn't about money with them. It is truly about the well being of your animal. I will never take my animals anywhere else!
