If you like watching YouTube videos about abandoned places this is the outlet mall for you... It's actually a very nice building and used to thrive 20 years ago, but all the stores are closed. I'd love for someone (Tanger?) to revitalize it, but for now I don't know how they pay for utilities.
Mostly abandoned, but still home to the Epic@UNC training center. Excellent training facility for UNC Health Care staff and physicians. Also houses a Chinese restaurant in the food court and a Cuban and a Mexican restaurant in close proximity.
Stores were non existent, had a "shoppers check in desk", papered walk ways. The pkace ia a ghost town. What happened? Why is everyone saying it a great place when it needs a new owner and major overhaul/renovation?
It so sad to see the mall closed and run down. I stopped by here to see if any progress was made. I read a long time ago that developers were going to construct a China Town here. It's been years and nothing has changed.
Mothers Day at the Cheesecake Factory with an aggregation of 11 relatives including our newly graduated granddaughter was nothing less than a miracle of accommodation. The place is literally fantastic. The greeters, waiters and servers were all more than one could expect on this busy day. The weather was perfect as well.
