I enjoyed fitness classes and working out at the previous location for 18 months. I was VERY disappointed to find the 2 classrooms at the new facility to be 1/3 the size of the previous location. People are on top of each other. Ventilation in the "Mind/Body" room is especially poor with no fans. The floor is sticky with humidity and it gets very hot. The sound system still blasts out loud static at random intervals. Towel baskets have black mold on the bottom. Ceiling tiles are soaked with rain. The priority is clearly on the open workout area with weight machines, etc. It is airy and cool. Perhaps 02 is planning to phase out classes.....
Just flat out perturbed at the way they are handling new customers. They act like I'm doing them a favor for joining. All I wanted was for them to answer my questions and that seems to be a monumental task that can only be done via text with no one's name. Sales is not rocket science. Judging by the responses to all the one-star reviews...they do not care. I'm done. Headed to Lifetime Fitness. Updated 10/3...Just read their response...Proves my point...Complete idiots...
Great gym! Everything is new and there is plenty of space and available equipment. They have friendly staff and trainers. After 13 years at LTF, we were glad to finally switch to a gym nearby. I would recommend that you speak with Tyler or Leo to take care of your initial needs and questions. They listened to my feedback implemented my suggestions! Also, they have really nice locker rooms with full towel service plus a sauna and steam room. The yoga room is beautifully lit, plenty of space, and I love the yoga teachers! They have a 22 bike spin room and a large room for fitness classes, including Fitness On Demand. Lastly, they offer a kids club for those under 12 years old.
I'm new to the area so I can't compare it to what it used to be or its other locations. I like that there are morning classes available. Sometimes they can be a bit busy, but so far I haven't felt on top of each other. The gym is very clean, has all of the equipment I want and the staff, teachers, and trainers are all really engaging and supportive.
I love the new location! This review, however, is about my experience training with Eric Wilson. After two spinal surgeries, physical therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and trying every type of exercise on my own, I could never find a way to manage my chronic back pain. I decided to try a personal trainer since O2 Fitness gave me 2 free sessions when I signed up a while back. I was referred to Eric because of his expertise with cases like mine. I could immediately tell that he would actually be able to help me.After 9 months with once a week training sessions, I can get through the day with little to no pain, my posture is better, and my quality of life is greatly improved. I would recommend Eric to anyone who needs help managing their pain!
